CLUB ACTIVITIES


Various clubs are functioning in the school to develop the overall personality of the students. They are Tamil club, English club, Maths club, Science club, Social Science club and Arts club.


OBJECTIVES
  • • To develop the skills of the students and enhance the team spirit, group dynamics, creativity, and self-motivation.
    • To discover the innate talents and interest of the students and strengthen to bring out their potentials.
    • To shape the students by chiseling them into a responsible and respectable citizen of the country.
    • To hone the students’ ideas to shape their social and soft skills, hobbies and leadership qualities
    • Improve imagination skills.
    • Boost confidence.
    • Improve Personality development.
LITRERARY ASSOCIATION
  • We have active Tamil and English literary associations to pave opportunities for the students to exhibit their articulating and oratorical skills and let them nurture their love for their language. "Shining Miracle " the magazine for students to establish their creativity is introduced.
TAMIL CLUB
  • • Tamil language club is the gathering of like- minded people to develop and hone the Tamil speaking skills of the students.
    • Activities and various competitions in extempore, debate essay
    • Creative writing, poetry writing, skit, quiz, oratory are conducted to enhance the students skills towards Tamil language.

    • The main aim of Tamil club is to spread the knowledge understanding of Tamil language beliefs, history and cultural values of the students.
    • This kind of initiative will definitely bring in the interest towards the language and the great literature in the language.
    • Tamil being one of the world's leading languages in the literature count, this kind of club activities will be fun and also educating
ENGLISH CLUB
  • • English club is a place for language learning to use English in a casual setting.
    • Our English club has been providing pupils for nurturing and inculcating the love for the language among the young learner's.
    • The English club observed English fortnight which comprised of myriad activities including corridor decorations, bulletin board decorations, English group song competition, role play and mine presentation, Extempore and English Quiz ,certain intra class activities and competition are also a part of this fun and frolic generating week.
    • Thus the English club provides such an ingenious and expressive activity to the language learner's brushing up their inventive skills and artistic flair.
    • It leads the students to knack their creativity and to install a feeling of challenging activity.
MATHS CLUB
  • Our maths club have been comprehensive to encourage the students to a positive attitude towards mathematics which focuses on sharing their mathematical skills like

    • Stimulating Mathematical curiosity
    • Promote cross curricular thinking and the holistic development of pupils
    • Study real world math’s beyond the classroom and allow pupils to see math as an integral part of their lives.
    • Develop a healthy interest in mathematics as a source of interest and achievement.
    • Inspire thinking challenge and collaboration to improve students’ mental ability in math. Mathematics gives us hope, that every problem has a solution.
SCIENCE CLUB
  • Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge. This club is organized to give students an opportunity to meet and benefit from sharing scientific interests and abilities.

    • Projects are designed to stimulate interest in mathematics, science, engineering, and technology and to train students in techniques of innovation and creativity.
    • Our science club is an afterschool, mentor-based science program for middle school youth.
    • This program brings student mentors together to conduct fun and engaging scientific investigations.
    • Pupils build their self esteem and are trained in leadership, team work, organization, analytical thinking, problem solving and time management.
SOCIAL SCIENCE CLUB
  • • The goals and objectives of the social science club is to promote and educate others on the importance of the social science in our world, to help the less fortunate through community services, and to advance our knowledge and understanding of the social science.
    • The club aims at making children capable of becoming responsible, productive and useful members of the society.
    • The activities focus on patriotism, discipline, understanding historical culture, Values social harmony Brotherhood, Humanity.
    • The activities are organizing lectures, debates, seminars and symposia etc. celebrations, birthday of eminent scientist.
    • Preparation of charts and models for school level exhibition and further participation at regional and national level exhibition.
    • We create interest and makes the students to be active in the subject to encourage intellectual curiosity among the students, to provide practical knowledge of the subject, and to create power for thinking and fosters imagination and creativity among the students.
ART CLUB
  • • Art plays a vital role in students in inspiring a richer, more profound understanding of human experience, culture and society today.
    • Aimed at both a specialist and a general audience the magazine features a mixture of criticism, reviews, previews, opinion, reportage, and specially commissioned artworks, and offers one of the most established, in-depth and intimate portraits of international contemporary art in all its shapes and forms.

THE BHARAT SCOUTS AND GUIDES
  • • Scouting and Guiding is an international movement intends to inculcate in the young boys and girls a spirit of loyalty, patriotism and thoughtfulness for others.
    • Scouting and Guiding helps to achieves it's purpose of developing young people physically, intellectually, socially and spiritually.
    • Scouts and Guides build a sense of confidence, self- esteem, learning life skills, leadership skills, teamwork, adventures, education, communication skills are all a part of it.
JUNIOR RED CROSS
  • " I pledge myself to case for my own health and that of others, to help the sick and suffering , Especially children and to look of all other children all over the word as my friends"

    The main Moto of the club is to practice good health habits, Personal Hygiene , Cleanliness of school promises, health awarenesses campaign in the nearby areas, First Aid training, Blood grouping camps for JRC members and blood donation open demonstration by JRC

    JRC promotes Health development, National and international friendliness, service to the sick and suffering.
YOUTH INTERACT CLUB
  • School has an interact club sponsored by the Rotary club of Udumalpet. It provides opportunities to get in touch with interactors, studying not only in Indian schools but also in other countries. Regular meetings are conducted twice a month. The club functions with the guidance of a campus advisor and a club advisor from Rotary club.
