LITERARY CLUB

• Literary club is to develop self-efficacy and confidence and would help to enhance the general knowledge base. Sharpening the children’s skills of logical thinking. It develops excellent communication skills and teaches students to think spontaneously.

TAMIL CLUB

• The Literary Associations aim at creating a love for the language and a passion to acquire higher order skills such as creative communication through the media of prose, poetry, drama etc. They learn to appreciate Tamil history and culture well through this club. Selected students from class V onward are the constituents of these associations. They represent VPS in various competitions. These activities are well integrated with the curriculum to help students in higher academic achievements.
  
  • To develop Tamil speaking and writing skills
  • The club initiates competitions in essay writing, creative writing, poetry writing, debate, Quiz, reading and oral skills.
  • To develop taste for literature.
  • Aimed at building up the confidence and growing the talents of facing various interpersonal activities and competition.
  • To make the students to know about the epics and literature books through audio and video visuals.

ENGLISH CLUB

• A degree in English language and literature is designed to get reading books, analyzing theories, critiquing prose and verse, and taking a more critical look at the signs and words surrounding us every day. The aim is to get students thinking creatively and analytically about the English language; this differs from other modern language degrees as it is intended for students already proficient in written and spoken English.
  
  • Providing a space dedicated to English to motivate and inspire learners.
  • To work as a group non-threatening environment.
  • Investing time for their own development
  • Involving the students to have club debalte to develop their pronunciation.
  • New discussion topic for each classes to help them develop their conversation and to learn new vocabulary words.

MATHEMATICS CLUB

• In Math, shapes and its properties were explained through conversation, real time objects using shapes were set up. Puzzles and activities were done based on pattern. The basic skills of Mathematics - Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division were explained through a board game.

SCIENCE CLUB

• In EVS, Introduction of healthy habits was given by a student. Food pyramid and types of food, Good Habits and keeping fit were explained by the models. Difference between healthy food and junk food was explained though chart. Games were conducted based on this.

SOCIAL STUDIES CLUB

• It creates power for thinking and fosters imagination and creativity among the students. Our club activities inculcate various democratic values and qualities like tolerance, equality freedom and leadership etc among the children.
