Warm greetings to everyone on behalf of RKR College of Education, affiliated by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, a fortitude filled and value based institution channelizing the students towards the future demand through transformative knowledge and training. We deem that each student teacher is unique and has the potential to excel in many ways. This prestigious institution is run by RKR trust [founded by National and State awardee, eminent educationist, Respectable RKR Sir - Guide and lead by our lovable secretary Thiru RKR Kaarthikkumaar Sir]. Our RKR College of education is a beehive of academic activities since from 2005. We provide value-oriented teacher education program. We are also preparing the competency based committed oriented teachers to create a better progressive society. We emphasize the multifaceted and challenging roles of student teachers for the social transformations through our training. The teacher has to develop and cultivate social, moral and profound qualities in students with respect to global citizenship, nationalism and internationalism. The inculcation of self learning, analyzing skills, perspective skills and ICT skills among the students with high emotional and spiritual quotients bring forth the transformations. The teacher preparation training, innovative teaching strategies and cautiously crafted activities of our college provide experiences to ascertain intrinsic competencies, set deep rooted objectives and proactive work towards their satisfaction. Our staff members are resourceful and innovative in curricular and co-curricular activities. We prepare disciplined teachers for future generation by knowing the past, in the present to safeguard the future Teachers generation. I am very much pleased to work as principal and share my knowledge with students and staff and enjoying the days gladly with Management.
